splash pad.

we went with our cousins to the splash pad today. the kids had a good time. its nice that Texas has all these pools and splash pads around to help keep everyone cool in the blasted heat!

our in n' out burger has finally arrived! the fam and i went and braved the crowds the week of in n' out's grand opening here in texas.

its finally summer!!

actually, its been summer here for awhile now... i guess my title should have read "the pool is finally open!" because irregardless of the warm weather, the pool has only recently opened.
needless to say, we're so glad it did!

this is my new favorite photo. it actually started out as me teasing hinck with the camera, and him trying to get out of me snapping photos of him, but this was the result. i, personally, LOVE the picture. you can see some of the few freckles he has and i can't get over his adorable "scrunch face".
